Habit Garden is a calm life-tracking app that helps users reflect on daily habits, meals, movement, sleep, recovery, stillness, and optional wellness signals such as Oura data.
This policy explains what information Habit Garden may collect, how it is used, and how users can contact us about privacy questions.
Information we collect
- Account and contact information, such as email address, when a user signs in or contacts us.
- Habit check-in information entered by the user, including gratitude, planning, meals, movement, sleep, recovery, and stillness reflections.
- Optional photos or descriptions submitted for meal-scoring features.
- Optional Oura wellness data authorized by the user through the daily scope, such as daily sleep, readiness, and activity summaries.
- Basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
- Page-view and usage statistics from Vercel Web Analytics. Vercel states that this service does not use cookies and uses a request-based visitor hash that expires after 24 hours for aggregate reporting.
- If you allow it, Google Analytics information such as pages viewed, browser, device details, and standard website interactions, using analytics cookies and similar identifiers.
How we use information
- To provide Habit Garden check-ins, garden progress, rewards, and wellness feedback.
- To connect optional Oura data to the user's own Habit Garden experience.
- To maintain, debug, secure, and improve the app.
- To understand overall website usage through Vercel Web Analytics and, only if you allow it, Google Analytics.
- To respond to support, privacy, or account questions.
Website analytics and your choice
Vercel Web Analytics records page views and related technical details for aggregate site reporting. It does not use cookies, according to Vercel, and its visitor hash expires after 24 hours. Google Analytics is optional and does not load unless you choose “Allow analytics.” When enabled, it may use first-party analytics cookies and receive page-view, browser, device, and standard interaction information. Our manually recorded page views use the page path without query strings or fragments. We do not intentionally send form field values, habit check-ins, meal entries, account details, or Oura records to Google Analytics.
Your Google Analytics choice is saved in this browser. Choose “Reject analytics” to keep it off, or change your choice at any time here. If you withdraw a previous choice, the site stops loading Google Analytics and clears available Google Analytics cookies for this site.
Oura data
Oura connection is optional. Habit Garden requests the daily Oura scope for daily sleep, readiness, and activity summaries. Oura data is used to help the user understand wellness patterns inside Habit Garden. Users may disconnect Oura access at any time through their Oura account settings or by contacting us.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may use service providers that help operate hosting, authentication, analytics, storage, or app infrastructure, and we may disclose information if required by law or necessary to protect the service and users.
Data choices
Users can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or disconnection of app data where applicable. Oura permissions can also be managed in the user's Oura account.
